my vote goes to krispy kreme because they make one delicious glazed donut/doughnut!
We lived in a small country town that had a little donut shop that made the best donut's I have ever had. As far as chain donut shops go, Bess Eaton Donuts beat Dunkin Donuts by far. Bess Eaton was a chain up in the north east BTW.

Thanks Lilacs, Tink ate some peanut butter oatmeal cookies early this week and had an attack that she didn't tell me about till a day or two later. I just got back from the store with veggies and skinless chicken breast to broil.

DJ, we will find out Monday but I'm pretty sure it will be done laproscopically. We know for sure it can not be disolved or "blasted" ultrasonically. That procedure is usually used on Kidney stones. She's still zonked out, but I have been checking on her frequently and she's resting and not in too much pain. I'll be watching her like a hawk all weekend. We have great neighbors also, who will be helping me care for her. Thanks so much for all your concern and encouraging comments. I'll keep you updated.
Francois, thanks for the advice. Tink hates taking medicine of any kind, so I don't think she'll have trouble with addiction. I know it is easy to get addicted and many have had that happen to them. We appreciate your concern. Thank You.

I say they are wicked. Such a letter should never have been selective to only a certain area. It should have been accross the board. It shows that they are only concerned with reputation as they were obligated by law to do so and yet did nothing with the situation in other lands. They have done so with Malawi and Mexico concerning the political cards. They were selective then and still are. It's wickedness Bill, that's my vote.

i recieved an email last night from someone asking me if i could find a place to stay they would buy my ticket so i could be at the march on the 27th.
Jessica, that is such great news. Tink and I wish we could be there but are unable to attend. Our hearts will be with you and all the others.

there is no telling where this woman is but somebody from somewhere must know who she is and i would think turn her in.

mine was taken last month, just after my 36th birthday.
My profile pic was taken last June in Ct. while I was on business. I stayed with my best friend Dave who owns a cottage on the shore near Old Saybrook,Ct. I was sitting on the deck looking at Long Island sound which was about 50 feet away, drinking a Brandy, and smoking a Cuban cigar. I have no idea what I was thinking about, probably how good life is out of the Borg and that I wished Tink was with me to enjoy it. Right after the pic was taken we went golfing. What a great business trip...LOL

Hi everyone. I am sorry for disappearing from the boards the past few days. I started overtime at work again and have been worn out. I just wanted to fill you in on Tink. She had another real bad attack early this morning and I brought her immediately to the ER. I requested that they do an ultra-sound on her Gallbladder. They did and she has Gallstones and has to have her Gallbladder removed. We have an appointment Monday with the surgeon. She feels better now with alot less pain, they gave her Demarol and Mepergan till she has surgery sometime Tuesday. If she gets worse over the weekend we'll be headed back to the ER. She's conked out right now but will probably be on the boards over the weekend. We'll keep you informed. Thanks for being such good friends.
